Une porte ouverte

Identificeer de hoeksteen 

die door de bouwers werd afgewezen : 

dat is hij, de hoeksteen.

Bouw hem in geen enkele tentoonstelling, 

want hij is levend.

Deze steen is het brood van uw eeuwige jeugd.

Identificeer het vuur 

in het hart van een vergeten diamant :

hier zit het, het hemels vuur.

Maak er geen liefdesverhaal van, want alle verhalen 

hebben hun einde.

Dit vuur lest eeuwig uw dorst.

In plaats van eindeloos af te vragen 

of de dood je waarheid aanraakt of niet,

raakt door middel van je gedachte de hoeksteen aan 

en kijk naar het vuur dat in hem blijft behouden.

Dus, formuleer deze bevrijdende vraag : 

Waarom ben ik hier ?

 
Identify the stone 

that has been rejected by the builders :

this is the cornerstone.

Since it is alive, 

you cannot enclose it in any exhibition.

This stone is the bread of your everlasting youth.

Identify the fire 

in the heart of a forgotten diamond :

that is the celestial fire.

You cannot use it as a love story, 

since each story contains an end.

This fire quenches your thirst for ever.

Instead of endlessly asking yourself 

if death reaches your truth or does not,

you can touch with your thought the cornerstone 

and see its innermost fire.

Thus, ask yourself this liberating question : 

Why am I here ?

Identifiez la pierre 

que les bâtisseurs ont rejetée : 

c’est elle, la pierre d’angle. 

Puisqu’elle est vivante, 

nul ne peut l’incorporer dans une exposition.

Cette pierre est le pain de votre éternelle jeunesse.

 

Identifiez le feu 

au cœur d’un diamant oublié : 

c’est lui, le feu céleste.

N’en faites pas une histoire d’amour, 

car toute histoire a une fin.

Ce feu désaltère votre soif éternellement.

 

Au lieu de vous demander sans fin 

si la mort atteint votre vérité ou pas,

touchez la pierre d’angle par votre pensée 

et voyez le feu qu’elle contient 

en formulant cette interrogation libératrice : 

Pourquoi suis-je ici ?
